Visions and Beliefs in the West of Ireland
By Lady Gregory, featuring handwritten note by W.B. Yeats
These volumes contain local folklore and legends from the west of Ireland, as collected by Lady Gregory and W.B. Yeats. Volume one is inscribed by W.B. Yeats with the following : "For wisdom is a butterfly and not a gloomy bird of prey / WB Yeats, May 16 1920."

This first edition of Poems 1899-1905 was published in 1906. Added to title page is a hand written note card by W. B. Yeats which reads : "to find in all poor foolish things that live a day eternal beauty wandering on her way - W.B. Yeats, April, 1905."

In excellent condition, this volume of poetry is signed by W. B. Yeats’ brother Jack B. Yeats and features a sketch of “a barrow-man”, signed and dated.

This first edition of “The Trembling of the Veil” is a limited-edition copy noted as number 109 of 1000 copies. This volume is also signed by W.B. Yeats. Published in 1922.
