To celebrate International Open Access Week the Library and Research Office invite you to a facilitated open forum on research data. This is a great opportunity to consider a range of topics, including:
• Research funder requirements to make data openly accessible
• Creating data management plans
• Secure storage of data
• Long-term curation
• Finding research datasets
• Enabling re-use of data
• The FAIR principles – Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Retrievable data
• Supports required
You may have other topics too and this is the place to share and discuss them. The forum will inform the initial development of services to help researchers meet the challenges of managing datasets. Please come along, participate or listen, and enjoy lunch with interested colleagues. All are welcome.
