AWC Group Workshop on Essay Writing: Making a Point and Proving It
Presenters: Amanda Pecora (AWC) and Isha van der Burg (AWC)
The purpose of this workshop is to aid students in crafting arguments in their academic essays. Most writing assignments require students to present a clear and well-developed argument. When planning an essay, you should, therefore, address two questions: what are you arguing specifically, and how are you going to prove it? The workshop will include tips on dealing with those two questions.
Time: Wednesday  18 February at 6 pm at the Training Room in the James Hardiman Library
