A trial is now available for Archives Unbound. Archives Unbound presents topically-focused digital collections of historical documents that support the research and study needs of scholars and students at the college and university level. Collections in Archives Unbound cover a broad range of topics from the Middle Ages forward-from Witchcraft to World War II to twentieth-century political history. Collections are chosen for Archives Unbound based on requests from scholars, archivists, and students. This trial is available until 01 August. A database trial of National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) Standards Database is now available. The NSAI Standards Databes provides subscribers with full-text access to Irish Standards, ISO standards and European standards as well as details of over 1 million standards and directives across the industrialised world from 400 national and international organisations. Access is available until 9th June. Please take the time to fill out a feedback form to help us evaluate our resources.

Filmakers Library Online provides award-winning documentaries with relevance across several subject areas - arts, literature, the environment, bioethics, race and gender studies, globalization and global studies, multiculturalism, international relations, criminal justice, health, political science and current events, psychology, human rights, and more. It presents points of view and historical and current experiences from diverse cultures and traditions worldwide. This release now provides 717 titles, equaling approximately 568 hours. NUI, Galway is the first institution worldwide to purchase The Cecil Papers, a privately held archive, consisting principally of the correspondence of William Cecil, Lord Burghley (1520-1598) and his son, Robert, the 1st Earl of Salisbury (1563-1612). The database offers full-colour images digitised directly from the original Cecil Papers manuscripts at Hatfield House Archives. Also included is a digitised version of the Calendar of the Manuscripts of the Marquees of Salisbury, an essential bibliographic tool that provides descriptive records for each document, including many full transcriptions, extracts, and summary abstracts.
