Library Research Week
Targeted at the University’s research community, a range of talks and seminars have been arranged for the week beginning 18 October. The aim is to showcase the Library’s extensive support for research in the University.
The Research Week has been timed to coincide with International Open Access Week, and open access publishing will feature, with reference to ARAN – the Library’s online repository for NUI Galway research.
Papers will also cover:
• Research resources across all disciplines
• Research dissemination
• Maximising the impact of your research
• Using open access repositories
• Archives and Special Collections
The talks and seminars will take place throughout the week both in the Library and in research centres such as The Moore Institute, CISC and REMEDI. For the full programme, please go to
