Inter Library Loans

Inter-Library Loan update due to Covid-19*

Due to the Library being physically closed, print materials cannot currently be supplied on inter-library loan.

Inter-library loans of electronic journal articles, or supply of book materials as an ebook, may be possible on a case-by-case basis.

Requests may be placed in the usual manner via the Library website.

Please note that this service is dependent on other institutions maintaining their document delivery services and as such may be withdrawn at short notice if additional restrictions are implemented. We reserve the right to enforce a cap on requests if demand makes it impossible to fulfil all requests.

Unfortunately NUI Galway will not be in a position to fulfil requests to external Libraries at this time.
